Page 2: People to identify: Greenwich Village folk music scene 1958-9

The photos on this page are part of a large collection taken by Aaron Rennert and Ray Sullivan in New York in 1958-9. They are now at the University of North Carolina, and I am helping them figure out who's who. If you were there and recognize anyone, please let me know. And if you know anyone else who was there and might recognize people, please pass the word to check this page. The top photos are of musicians, followed by some photos of people at music parties and in Washington Square Park. If you recognize someone, my email is elijah (at) elijahwald.com. There are more pictures at Village Folks page 1, Village Folks page 3, and a page of later (1966-69) pictures from the Indian Neck folk gatherings.
(As people are identified, I put their names with the photos. If someone is unnamed, they remain a mystery. If you disagree with any identifications, please let me know.)
